We spent much of November preparing Casey's house for the new renter. Vince finished up the dining room window and wall, and then we painted the dining room and essentially every other room in the house that had not been painted yet: the piano room, the kitchen and living room, and one upstairs bed and bath. The master bedroom carpet was replaced as well. And you'd think after all that work that we'd take pictures of the completed project. Nope! You'll just have to picture how great everything looked.
After spending Thanksgiving with Vince's family down in Hutchinson, the next major project was packing and moving Casey out of her house. Since Vince's roommates were still in his house, his living and dining room graciously accommodated all of Casey's stuff. The big move was completed by Christmas, and we enjoyed Christmas with Casey's family here in town. We planned ahead for the event by taking updated family portraits to give Casey's family.
We also attended holiday parties for both of our offices, and celebrated Casey's brother's birthday.
And don't forget, between everything else, we had to finish wedding planning too!
The final day of 2010 was our rehearsal dinner where we had family and friends over for food and fun. Needless to say, we were both too tired to stay up till midnight!
