August 28th: Vince finally got his house! After waiting over 4 months and nearly giving up, he finally closed and acquired the elusive title of a short sale survivor. The bank had let the basement get too humid, so the first thing on the to-do list was to replace the carpet. Then, with his family's help, he moved in.
September 29th: Casey closed! She, too, had trouble buying a house. After losing 4 other houses since April, she was willing to give Kansas City one last shot before looking in Lawrence. Well, thank goodness she did because it allowed her to not only snag her house when it had been listed for 3 just days, but it also allowed her to snag Vince as well.
